The writing process is finished. You’re pleased with your manuscript, developmentally and structurally. Now, it’s time to focus on the reading experience. We want your audience to be awed by your prose and style, never distracted by mechanics or word choice.

This is where a full line and copy edit come in.

Preserving your voice and the authenticity of your message are critically important at this stage of editing. I will read your manuscript word by word and line by line to facilitate the smoothest reading experience possible.

In a full line and copy edit, I will focus on:

• Pace and flow

• Spelling, grammar, syntax, and punctuation

• Mechanics and style (sentence structure, clarity, consistency in capitalization, conventions, use of numbers, dates, and times)

• Word choice and usage

• Effectiveness of the narration, always keeping the intended audience in mind

• Authenticity of phrasing and voice

An editorial report discussing writing trends and describing the reasoning behind any edits that have been made to your project is also included in this service.
